Our AFS Interest team is expanding because of growth of our business opportunities. In total we have more than 150 employees working at AFS Group, and we are still growing in this dynamic and fast-paced market. The AFS Interest team consists of a group of 50+ ambitious and highly motivated brokers who are always finding ways to improve services and close deals for their clients. This client base consists

of asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, treasuries, and family offices world wide. As a Fixed Income Broker your main focus is business development and building relationships and deliver the best services to your clients. Your clients are asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, treasuries, and family offices. The products we trade are mainly bonds.

In this role you will be focusing on:

  • Managing, maintaining, and expanding the client portfolio, with a focus on new business and high potential markets.
  • Identify clients’ needs and pro-actively act to achieve best-in-market customer satisfaction.
  • Actively look for new and cross-selling opportunities within AFS Group departments.
  • Conduct market research where you will research and analyse market trends, technological advancements, potential clients, and their industry trends, to help inform business decisions.
  • Ensure brand awareness and building your network through participation in business events, fairs, and other occasions.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (finance/economics/accounting major a plus).
  • Candidates with 0-2 years of professional experience in finance, trading, or sales roles are preferred.
  • Native-level Spanish. Any additional languages are a plus.
  • Eager, energetic, curious, and proactive by nature.
  • You are steady and not afraid to (cold) call (potential) clients.
  • Good knowledge of financial products and market.
  • Accurate, excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • You are able to work flexible 8-hours between 09:00 and 22:00 CET given the different time zones of customers we focus on in this role (Latin America).
