About the job

We are looking for a hands-on Junior Business Analyst with a passion for process optimization and a technical mindset. As part of our Development team, you will be working on the Vennex project, our MTF exchange platform for trading shares and bonds in small to medium sized enterprises and crowdfunding platforms. You will play a key role in driving the success of our Agile sprints. You will ensure that the team stays focused, track progress, and facilitate smooth communication with various stakeholders.

As a Junior Business Analyst, you will work alongside colleagues in the development team, the product owners, business analysts and management on C-level. You will operate in niche markets with specific business requirements, requiring flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt.

The focus of the position

  • Working closely with the IT-development team on continuous improvement

  • Estimated the required time, costs and impact of implementing the established backlog

  • Preparing scrum events (including sprint planning and leading the stand-up meetings)

  • Organizing demo sessions

  • Drawing up epics, story lines and user stories and making them concrete with associated requirements

  • Create wireframes, flowcharts and swimlanes to visualize processes

  • Work within our customized version of Agile and be responsible for executing sprints

Contribute to the Vennex project and crowdfunding initiatives

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a Technical field

  • At least 1+ year of working experience in a project-based working environment

  • Tech-savvy

  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a pre)

  • Knowledge of financial services/trading/blockchain is a plus but not a must; what's more important is your interest in the field and in software development
